Meet Dr. Sanchez

Dr. Luis J. Sanchez-Robles

Dr. Sanchez is a 1989 graduate of the University of Osteopathic Medicine, College of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery. He then went through a two-year Podiatric Surgery Residency at Saint Mary’s of Nazareth Hospital Center, in Chicago, IL, graduating in 1991. He continues to service the Central Florida patient population since his first day of practice , in 1991.

Experience

Dr. Sanchez carries 30 plus years of dedication to the field of Podiatric Medicine and Reconstructive surgery. An educator and innovator in his field , he dedicates countless hours in getting involved on advanced educational seminars, and for long years continues to teach at different professional levels, surgical skills, in foot, ankle, and leg reconstructive surgery. He is well known by the Central Florida Medical community, and his experience and expertise has taking Dr. Sanchez to be involved as an attending for the Adventhealth Podiatric Surgical Residency Program for more than 25 years. He recently started a new direction in his professional life, as a Podiatric Physician and Surgeon for the Florida Foot & Ankle Group , P.A. He sees patients at the Oviedo practice location, and see patients, under consultation, at Orlando Regional Medical Center, Orlando, FL.

Educational Progress

Dr. Sanchez continues a commitment to evolve and progress in his profession , by getting involved in training on the latest medical treatments and surgical techniques available worldwide, for the treatment of foot, ankle and leg pathologies / conditions. He is a coauthor of several writings, manuals, and articles related to his profession. His latest achievements include the completion of a fellowship program in “Foot, Ankle, and Lower Leg Orthoplastic”. He also continues to help teaching Podiatric Surgery Residents and other physician/surgeons on advanced surgical techniques. He also travels outside the USA to help teach other foot specialists, on Surgical related seminars. Dr. Sanchez is a Diplomat of the American College of Foot & Ankle Surgeons, a Fellow of the American Microsurgical Orthoplastic Society, a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association, A Board-Certified Foot Surgeon, a Professor Emeritus of the Department of Podiatric Surgery at several Universities outside of the USA.
